About Cakery Zivine — A Hobby and Lifelong Passion!

Zymira started Cakery Zivine just three years ago. After a lifelong passion and hobby, her love for baking and countless years of perfecting her craft became a business she shares now with her community. Growing up in Washington DC's worst violent and drug-addicted area, it wasn't always safe to be outside, so Zymira would often be home with her mom and siblings making crafts, baking, and learning family recipes to pass the time. Her family are mostly chefs and artistically talented individuals, so she was raised on core values and plenty of time together with her family.

She developed an identity for herself, turning that into some of the most beautiful cakes that are stunning and delicious cakes. Inspired by the cake boss Carlos family's iconic bakery, they used to call home living on top of it. Zymira is opened her very own bakery service that is also called home. This single mother raised her family in an apartment above her bakery, intending to inspire children to pursue their goals.

When you love what you do as much as this entrepreneur, it doesn't feel like work but a lifelong vacation with joy, fun, and excitement to share every day.
